Iron Capital’s mission is to help our customers get the iron in the dirt.

With more than 50 years in the earthmoving and mining industries, specializing in mobile plant and equipment, we understand every construction project is different and every customer has unique needs.

We know how to tailor equipment requirements for companies of all sizes so they can get on with the business of delivering projects.

We are proud to work with many equipment dealers around the globe. Our customers build the important highways, freeways and infrastructure projects across Australia and North America that help keep their countries moving.

The Iron Capital name is new to many, most likely because we’ve been quietly delivering for our customers behind-the-scenes.

This has been a deliberate approach – we know our role of being an enabler for our customers and prefer to let their work and outcomes get the attention it deserves.

Richard Lewis

Director | Australia, North America
With more than 25 years’ experience in the equipment and machinery sector, Richard is highly regarded for his expertise and in-depth knowledge of heavy vehicles and construction equipment. Prior to joining Iron Capital in 2015, Richard held senior roles at market-leading equipment and machinery companies at both a factory and dealership level. Rich holds a Bachelor of Business from Monash University.

Paul Ireland

Director | Australia, North America
Prior to joining Iron Capital, Paul was an owner and Managing Director of a construction equipment rental and finance business, and held executive roles at financial institutions. Across his 25+ year career, Paul has partnered with numerous companies, particularly in the civil construction and mining sectors, to facilitate financing and equipment provision for a range of infrastructure projects. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Western Sydney University.

Niall Finucane

Director | Australia
With strong business and finance acumen and extensive knowledge of construction machinery, Niall’s expertise is highly sought by many in the construction industry. Previously a General Manager of a construction equipment rental and finance business, Niall has also held senior commercial broking roles at leading banking institutions. An industry leader in matching machinery to the needs of a project, Niall has enabled countless developers deliver small and large scale infrastructure assets. He holds a Bachelor in Economics and Politics from Macquarie University.

Gerard Bass

Chief Financial Officer | Australia
Gerard is Chief Financial Officer for Iron Capital, with expertise in finance and past management roles with companies spanning logistics, equipment hire, and manufacturing. He is a strategically focused senior leader with experience leading commercial, finance, administration, and IT teams. Gerard is a Fellow with CPA Australia.

Andrew Egan

Sales Director | Western Australia & Northern Territory
With an impressive 30 years’ experience in equipment asset management, leasing, and rental sales, Andrew joins Iron Capital as the Sales Director in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to joining the team Andrew held senior management roles in fleet management and global equipment rental and leasing organisations. Andrew’s most recent role was the Asia Pacific Regional Sales Manager for a global construction and transport vendor finance business. He is a strong leader focused on execution, growth, and customer retention.

Lee Swaile

Director of Sales | Canada West
Lee has over a decade of knowledge and experience in the equipment industry in various roles, including sales, rentals, and management, which he applies every day in the work he does in Western Canada. Lee is a committed problem solver for all his clients and always embraces the unique challenges presented by the diverse range of works, from oil and gas to civil construction and forestry that take place in his region.

Alan Collier

Director of Sales - USA | Business Development Texas & Oklahoma
Alan joins Iron Capital Group with more than 15 years experience in the heavy equipment industry. Prior to joining the team Alan worked his way through the ranks from Commercial Driver to Regional Sales Management and everything in-between. Most recently, Alan has held leadership roles in rental sales management and rental operations management in the US general rental space.

Josh Berbee

Business Development Manager | USA Minnesota
Josh has nearly two decades of experience across Outside Sales, Account Management, Sales Management and Business Development, with a demonstrated history and success of working within the Rental, Heavy Equipment and Construction Industries. Josh works hard to make sure businesses can get the equipment they need in a way that suits and compliments the work they do. He has a degree in Business Management from Minnesota State University.

Ross Kooij

Business Development Manager | Northern NSW
Ross joined Iron Capital as Business Development Manager for NSW and brings more than 20 years in the Earthmoving machinery supply and rental industries to the business. This experience has most recently been in a business development capacity at Emeco International (ASX listed and Australians largest independent mining rental business) for 5 years. Prior to Emeco, Ross was integral to the development and growth of the Max Hire rental business throughout the Hunter and regional NSW. Ross also spent 11 years working with the previous NSW Caterpillar dealer in sales, rental, and branch management roles.

Nick O’Doherty

Asset Manager | Australia
Nick brings more than 20 years of experience across the mining, civil and forestry equipment industries. Having started his career as a diesel mechanic and then moving into sales and major accounts roles, Nick has developed exceptional equipment and industry knowledge. As a former small business owner Nick understands the challenges and pressures of running a business and is committed to helping his customers succeed and grow their own operations.

Marc St Ange

Business Development Manager | Victoria & South Australia
Marc has joined Iron Capital as Business Development Manager for VIC, TAS and SA, bringing more than 20 years of heavy machinery experience across the mining, civil and earthmoving equipment industries. Most recently Marc had a 3-year stint as the Vic territory manager for Porter Equipment Australia. Marc’s time as a major accounts manager in the forklifts and heavy machinery sector with both Crown and Nissan, along with his 15 years in the earthmoving equipment industry means he has a wealth of sector knowledge. He has worked with some of Australia’s largest equipment dealers, including 8 years with Victorian Caterpillar dealer Williams Adams.

David Dixon

Business Development Manager | South Queensland
With more than 10 years’ experience in construction, mining, civil and earthmoving equipment rental and five years in crushing and screening capital sales, David brings a wealth of experience to the Iron Capital Group. David’s experience has seen him working in international trading role, specialising in merchant steel and tubular products and across the rental space. Today, as a Business Development Manager with Iron Capital Group, David’s territory extends from Brisbane River South to Grafton in New South Wales and includes the Surat Basin and Western New South Wales. David will put his industry expertise to the task by offering equipment solutions to customers, to help them access the right equipment to get the job done.

Ralph Pena

Territory Manager | USA Florida
Ralph joins Iron Capital Group with 22 years of experience in the construction equipment industry. After leaving the US Navy, Ralph built his career from the ground up moving from multiple sales roles onto Branch Manager. Ralph brings deep insight across three major markets in Florida. Prior to joining Iron Capital, he worked at Local Caterpillar and Volvo Dealerships in Florida as a Sales Rep, as well as several other regional and national rental brands with his most recent role at H&E Equipment.

Kyrsten Steele

Accounts Manager | USA & Canada Enquiries
Kyrsten is an accomplished equipment industry specialist who brings considerable knowledge and experience to the Iron Capital team. A jack-of-all-trades with experience in sales, auditing, funding, and account receivables, she’s a versatile professional in the industry. In her time at Iron Capital, her commitment and dedication to client success have consistently shone through.

Travis Bradley

Business Development Manager | ALBERTA & THE PRAIRIES
Travis is an experienced sales professional who has operated in the North American machinery, equipment and attachment industry for more than 16 years. With an impressive history that includes managing sales for organizations like Caterpillar and John Deere, Travis brings an intricate knowledge of the equipment solutions available to businesses across western Canada to meet their short and long-term needs. Travis covers territories including southern Alberta and the Prairies.

Mark Boisvert

Business Development Manager | British Columbia and Quebec
Mark’s career began in the Forestry sector with manufacturer Quadco Equipment. After Quadco, Mark transitioned into sales and business development where he has more than 20 years’ experience working in markets across North America. A bilingual French and English speaker, Mark is passionate about helping construction, forestry and mining businesses across Quebec, Northern Ontario and British Columbia regions obtain the equipment they need to achieve and sustain growth.
